The Auburn Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered November 12, 1978. The official chartering of the new chapter was performed by Soror Kathleen Wright who was the Southern Regional Director. There were thirteen members and Soror Barbara H. Pitts was elected President of this nucleus group. We salute these ladies as they continue to provide Delta Sigma Theta and the Lee County community with dedicated service.
